I often think about how few rights and how little choice women like Anne Boleyn (and all of Henry VIII's wives) and Lady Jane Grey had ultimately, especially once anyone tired of their usefulness or saw them as an impediment to power. Blake supplied the initial composition and we co-wrote lyrics and arrangement from there. (Inspired greatly by Hilary Mantel's books/series, Wolf Hall.)
